BPR LEIRIA 1 - 6 NORTON KNIGHTS LEGENDS
The first match for LEGENDS away to BPR resulted in a comprehensive 6-1 away win. Both sides began nervously but settled down after 10 minutes when Tommo scored the opener assisted by Aaron. BPR then battled hard and were unlucky to conceed an own goal, and go in 2-0 down at half time.
2nd half saw LEGENDS fitness and tactics come more into play, resulting in another two goals to make it 4-0. BPR pulled one back making it 4-1 but LEGENDS fitness saw them add a further 2 goals in the last 10 minutes to seal a comprehensive win in good style, despite the excellent efforts of BPR's Goalie who was outstanding throughout. The win was very much a team effort, each lad playing their own part and made picking man on the match very difficult.
